  • Book Winner!

Thank you all that commented to be entered into the Annie and the Swiss Cheese Scarf delux gift set giveaway. I'm happy to announce that the winner is…

    Jill, that said,

"I’m following you both on twitter! This book would be just perfect for my 6 year old niece. She really wants to knit like her mum, aunt, and grandmothers but keeps getting in a sulk because she can’t quite get it."

I love hearing that this beautiful book will go to a 6 year old girl that really wants to learn how to knit. Actually, she sounds like a little "Annie" herself!

Congrats to the winner! And thank you again to all that commented. I like having giveaways so if you didn't win this time, you just might get lucky on the next giveaway!

Yay!!!! I am so excited and can’t wait to give this book to Grace. It’s not her birthday until July but I’m sure I won’t be able to wait that long.

Since reading your blog about Annie and the Swiss Cheese Scarf, I’ve seen it promoted at the bottom of forum pages in the “Teaching Kids to Knit” group on Ravelry. It made me smile in recognition.
PS I’m in search of quick, easy patterns for a young aspiring knitter. We’re working on basics, but I think we need a dose of instant gratification. Any suggestions?
