Originally published/designed for By Hand Serial Issue #5, Oredock is now available for individual download.   This shawl’s bold graphics are reminiscent of the architectural lines of the Oredock, in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, an engineering marvel built more than a century ago on the shore of Lake Superior. It’s the perfect project to experiment with mosaic knitting and mixing different Plucky colors!   To celebrate this re-release, use code OREDOCKSHAWL in my Ravelry store and get 25% OFF, now through July 5th! This sample is knit with Plucky Knitter Trusty Fingering in colors Twill, Like Toad-ally, and Rock Lobster. Above photography by: Karen...

My dear knitting friend, Melynda has recently published her first knitting book, Comfort & Joy and today I'm honored to be part of her blog/book tour! Before I get into how wonderful this book is, I'd like to take a little trip down memory-lane… Melynda and I randomly met in 2010 online via Ravelry.
