Knitterella

  • TNNA 2013 Photobook

I'm just back from an amazing TNNA weekend! I got back home late Monday night. Tuesday was spent hanging out with family and today i'm back to my studio trying to both mentally and physically sort through all the wondering things that happened at TNNA. So many new and exciting adventures and opportunities are a head for both Knitterella and Jill Zielinski Designs and so many wonderful, new friends were made.

Below are some (blurry) pics from the weekend captured through my phone…

(Here's a shot of my booth. I was really happy with how my booth turned out. If you look closely you'll see my new card and tag designs too - more on that later this week!)

(This year I shared a booth with Lori of Versaci Knits. What a pleasure it was to meet her. I'm looking forward to our new found friendship. If you are not familiar with her work, be sure to check her out!)

(I was pretty geeked to have my booth right next to Stephen West of WestKnits! In this pic I still can't manage to wipe the star-stuck look off my face. He is an amazing artist!)

(The lovely Hilary of The Yarniad and Carrie of Irish Girlie Knits in their booths. Love these girls!)

(Look! It's ME and ME! Sorry, I couldn't help it, I had to take this silly pic of me next to a poster I designed for Irish Girlie Knits.Since I know you'll ask, that beautiful pink number in the poster is Carrie's new San Mateo pattern.)

(Here I am with my new friend Carina Spencer. She has such beautiful designs. I personally hope to knit Sugar Maple sometime soon, what a pretty knit.)

(Here I am getting inspired in the Anzula booth with Sabrina. Love her yarns!)

(Melynda and I with Heather of Ewe Ewe Yarns. It's aways good to see Heather and her cute booth. FYI - She has new colors!)

(One of many trips to Jeni's Ice Cream at the North Market. The best ice cream around! This visit was with Melynda - don't you just love her fun new hair cut?!)

(Last but not least, here is a shot of Woolly of Woolly Wormhead and Donna of Deep South Fibers. Lots of laughs were had with the sick-on mustaches that Fickle Knitter handed out. It was quite funny!)

I can't say enough about how refreshing and inspiring it is to go to an event like this where you are surround by so many talented people that all share the same crazy passion for knitting. It's a truly wonderful event and I'm already looking forward to next year!
