• NEW PATTERN: Herrington

I'm so excited to release my newest pattern, "Herrington"!

With its herringbone inspired graphics and beautiful artisan yarns, Herrington is a stylish and functional knit to add to your cooler weather accessories. The pattern offers directions for either a 3-color infinity scarf or a 2-color standard cowl. Worked in the round, it uses a provisional cast on and Kitchener stitch grafting. You can’t go wrong with this fun to knit and easy to wear design.

This pattern was designed with two beautiful yarns in mind. The infinity scarf, is knit with Bare Naked Wools, Breakfast Blend Fingering. It was a pleasure knit and design, for the first time, with Knitspot's unique and gorgeous new yarn. This luxurious merino and alpaca yarn is as close to the sheep as you can get. The natural fibers and dye-free colors make for a stunning and warm infinity scarf version of Herrington.

For my cowl version I looked to The Plucky Knitter for her statement colors and high-end blends. Bello fingering is an oh so soft and rich blend of merino and cashmere. The end results make for a beautiful, easy to wear cowl that is as much of a joy to knit as it is to wear.
